Until then please know, in the unlikely event we should not reach our funding goal, any funds we receive for the project will be refundable upon request, up to the date of our groundbreaking. We want you to feel secure in the fact that there is no risk for supporting Au Naturale. Once construction is complete, plan your visit anytime and take advantage of the exclusive discounts as one of our Day-One VIPs.

Resort Policy

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made prior to 14 days of arrival date will receive a full refund of the advance payment.  Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date will result in a forfeiture of the advance payment.

CHECK-IN: Check-in begins at 4 pm. However, Au Naturale will do its best to be flexible with these times. Guests are welcome to arrive as early as noon to pre-register for the room and begin enjoying our facility and all of the on-site amenities until the room becomes available. We can also provide luggage check as early as noon and we will deliver the luggage to your room when it becomes available.

CHECK OUT: Check-out time is 11 am. Guests are welcome to utilize all onsite amenities the entire day of departure. All belongings are required to be out of the room prior to the 11 am check-out time. Late check-outs are granted based upon availability. We cannot provide information on the availability of a late check-out until you arrive on the property for check-in. Late check-outs typically require an additional fee. We can provide a luggage check for a limited time, ask the front desk for time and availability.

AGE POLICY: Registered guests must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to check-in to the Au Naturale Resort and Lounge.

CHILDREN: Au Naturale is an adult-oriented resort. Also, as our swimming pool and spa are not enclosed with safety fences, and there are no lifeguards, children are not welcome on the premises.

NUDITY: Au Naturale is a clothing optional resort throughout the property, optional complimentary towel service available in all common areas.

DEPOSIT POLICY: A deposit is required in the amount of the first night’s room rate plus taxes which is due at the time of booking your reservation. Please allow up to 24 hours for the processing of your credit card. Any remaining balance will be due at the time of check-in.

INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT: The rental procedure for Cabanas or VIP areas requires an incidental deposit of $150. Use of a credit or debit card is required for the incidental deposit and

CAMERAS, FILMING, AND PHOTOS: For the privacy of our guests and patrons, there is absolutely no filming or photo taking allowed in the public areas. Please note, that unplanned and unauthorized photoshoots or video shoots in any of the public spaces will result in removal by security. PETS: Pets are not allowed at Au Naturale, except properly licensed guide dogs for the physically or mentally challenged. Unauthorized pets will result in immediate eviction with no refund along with a penalty fee of $300.

NO DRUGS ALLOWED: Possession or use of Federally controlled illegal drugs will result in immediate eviction from Au Naturale without any refund of money paid. Possession or use of such drugs may also result in police assistance with the removal of a guest from the property.

PARKING: On-site parking is provided, Large vehicles, boats, RV’s, and semi-trucks must find street parking.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Rates are based on single/double occupancy. The rate for additional guests is $60 per person, per night, before tax and service. This charge also applies to a guest’s daytime visitor or visitors who are on Au Naturale premises and use its facilities for more than 2 hours per day. A maximum of two additional guests is permitted per day to be on the premises with prior approval.

SERVICE FEE ON SITE OF TIPPING POLICY: The Service Charge applied to each guest’s invoice is shared amongst all Au Naturale staff members. Of course, if you feel that our staff is not deserving of the shared service charge, we will immediately credit you for the amount of the service charge. We do also permit direct gratuities to individuals, but this is not necessary.

 SMOKING: Au Naturale is a smoke-free facility. This smoking restriction includes tobacco, cannabis, and vaping. Smoking is not permitted in any rooms, courtyard, lounge, or public areas of the resort. In accordance with the law, smoking is permitted 15 feet away from all resort entrances. There is a per day extra cleaning charge if smoking or other odors are detected in or around a guest’s room/suite. A minimum charge of $100, to a maximum charge which is calculated using the nightly rate for all nights the room/suite is not rentable due to the guest created odors.

LIABILITY: Au Naturale assumes no liability for a guest’s injury or loss of property. Be aware that there are no lifeguards.  Please swim responsibly and please NO DIVING. Also, tiled surfaces may be uneven by nature and are slippery when wet. Au Naturale assumes no responsibility for damage to a guest’s vehicle or theft of contents while using its parking lots. Do not leave valuables in your car. Please lock your room/suite door and keep valuables in the in-room safe provided.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or cash. Forms of payment will be linked to individual rfid wristbands, at the front desk or online so carrying a wallet with you won’t be necessary while on the premises. We do not accept personal checks. We will not accept payment for any area from anyone under the age of 18.

ROOM RATES: Rates quoted via internet or phone conversation are based on the time of the year and the number of guests indicated at the time of the desired arrival. All room rates are subject to availability and may change at any time.

Please Note: The Au Naturale Resort and Lounge’s Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice, at any time, by Au Naturale.

PASSES AND MEMBERSHIPS: Day passes and member entries are good for (1) 8-hour period. Pass holders and members are limited to (1) One-day pass per (24) hour period. All visitors must be registered as a guest, member, or day pass holder for entry. Referrals may be subject:

A valid ID must be presented at check-in and will be secured at the front desk with the reservation of a rfid wristband.

Passes may be limited and/or suspended based on resort capacity.

 

 

Hygiene Protocols

Au Naturale is committed to putting the health and well-being of our guests and staff first. We will feature a range of hygiene protocols, high-efficiency sanitization, and other advanced cleaning measures.

Dear customers: Travel may look different in the near future, but we are dedicated to providing a safe secure stay through our hospitality and operating protocols. As the world adjusts to new travel norms and expectations, Au Naturale’s owners will ensure enhanced cleaning measures are always practiced. Supporting your personal well-being throughout your stay by using new science-led measures and partnering with industry cleaning lead experts such as Ecolab and Diversey among others.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEANLINESS AND WELL-BEING

Au Naturale will exercise deep cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants. You can expect to see evolved procedures in every area of the hotel, which may include:

  • Continuous cleaning in commons areas, with special attention to surfaces with the most contact, such as the courtyard, lobby, front desk, handrails, tables, benches, armchairs and/or waiting rooms, and garbage bins. Pool, Fitness Center, Locker room, Showers, Spa, Lounge, and Bar will be cleaned daily, and thoroughly again at the end of the day.

FOR STAFF MEMBERS: Special training will be provided for all staff, focusing on safety and personal hygiene protocols.

FOR GUESTS: Every guest will receive the ‘Stay Safe at Au Naturale’ program, highlighting all security and personal hygiene protocols including:

  • Promoting the use of our public showers before utilizing any common areas.
  • Sanitized wristbands for use with our cashless payment system and providing touchless access to rooms and lockers.
  • Paperless check-out.

PUBLIC AREAS: All housekeeping equipment will be sanitized at the beginning and end of every shift, including service carts and room service trays.

All floors, walls, curtains, rugs, armchairs, desks, remote controls, telephones, mirrors, doors, and other high-touch points will be sanitized in each room with steam injection, and air conditioning filter systems will be sanitized for each room at check out.

Reservation Policy

As we are a small resort, late cancellations, and no-shows really affect our business, therefore our deposit and cancellation policy is as follows:

We require a deposit equal to one night’s stay that will be charged to your credit card upon booking, the deposit is non-refundable within 2 weeks of the reservation date.

 We will automatically cancel any reservation for which we do not receive either a valid credit card or notification of payment within 5 days.

During peak periods, the deposit will be equal to 50% of the reserved stay.

More than 14 days notice – full refund less $25.00 administration fee.

3 days or less notice – loss of deposit.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to Au Naturale resort and Lounge (“Au Naturale” or “we”). We developed this Privacy Statement to provide you with information on when and how we collect and process personal data when you use our website and/or stay as a guest at our resort.

“Personal data” is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

 

Categories of Personal Data Processed By Au Naturale

Personal Data That Is Processed When You Communicate With Au Naturale  

When you interact with us via email, telephone or online (e.g., when you send us an email inquiry, provide us with feedback on your stay and our services, and comment on our social media blog posts), we collect personal data. This data includes your name, the name of others who will be staying with you at Au Naturale, phone number, email address and your home address; and information specific to your reservations for a stay at Au Naturale. Additionally, when you make a reservation and pay with a credit card, we collect, but do not store your credit card data. We transfer your credit card data to a third-party electronic payment vendor that processes electronic commercial payments, as described more fully in the Third-Party Recipients of Personal Data section of this Privacy Statement.

We also may create event logs that are useful in diagnosing visit or service-related issues, and capture information relating to guest service issues. To improve our guest services, subject to applicable laws, we analyze any feedback provided to us through voluntary surveys concerning your stay and our guest services.

 

Purposes and Legal Grounds

We use the personal data we process to provide you with guest support services, to respond to your inquiries, and to monitor and improve the quality and types of guest services that we provide. The legal ground for processing this information for these purposes is Au Naturale’s legitimate interest in providing quality lodging experiences, outstanding guest service support, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Au Naturale processes your email address and uses this information to correspond with you concerning your reservations and special requests for your stay. The legal ground for processing your email address for this purpose is Au Naturale’s legitimate interest in contacting you regarding your upcoming stays at Au Naturale.

With your approval, Au Naturale also processes your contact information for sending you information about Au Naturale. The name you provide is associated with your account profile. The legal ground for processing your contact information for these purposes is Au Naturale’s legitimate interest in providing you information about Au Naturale’s services or special offers.

If you are a guest of Au Naturale who pays for your stays via a credit card, Au Naturale will collect and transfer your credit card data to a third-party electronic payment vendor that processes your credit card information for payment of your guest charges during your stays. Au Naturale itself does not store any credit card data. The legal ground for processing your credit card information is that such processing is necessary for payment of your guest charges.

If you choose to sign up for our newsletter or any other communication from us, we will use your contact information for purposes of sending you the information you have requested. Au Naturale may also use your email address and other contact information for sending you occasional electronic marketing communications. You will have the opportunity to opt out of receiving any such communications at the time we collect your contact information and within every such email you receive from Au Naturale. The legal ground for processing your email address and other contact information for this purpose is our legitimate interest in sending electronic marketing communications to customers concerning Au Naturale. If you do not initially opt out of receiving electronic marketing communications, but subsequently decide that you no longer wish to receive electronic marketing communications, you will have the opportunity to opt out from receiving electronic marketing communications from Au Naturale at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

The electronic marketing communications you receive from Au Naturale may be based on information that you provide to us when you sign up for a stay at Au Naturale (e.g., the city/state/country where you live. The legal ground for processing your personal data for this purpose is Au Naturale’s legitimate interest in providing its guests with information they have requested and with electronic marketing communications that are likely to be of interest to them.

 

Third-Party Recipients of Personal Data

We use a third-party electronic payment vendor to process credit card data when our guests make a reservation and/or stay at Au Naturale and make payment for their guest charges using credit cards.

 

Third-party Service Providers

We share your personal data with ThinkReservations, a reservation service, in order to process your reservations.

 

Third Parties in Connection with a Business Reorganization

We also may transfer or provide access to your personal data to a third party in connection with an actual or impending reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of Au Naturale’s business or assets, including, without limitation, in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceeding. Any entity to which we transfer personal data will not be permitted to process your personal data other than as described in this Privacy Statement without providing you notice and, if required by applicable laws, obtaining your consent.

 

Governmental Entities and Third Parties

We may disclose personal data about you to governmental entities, such as regulatory agencies, law enforcement and judicial authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, as well as other third parties under any of the following conditions: (a) if we have your valid consent to do so; (b) to comply with a valid subpoena, legal order, court order, search warrant, legal process or other legal obligation; (c) to enforce any of our terms and conditions or policies; (d) as necessary in the case of emergencies or internal security matters; or (e) as necessary to pursue available legal remedies or defend legal claims.

We automatically collect usage data (e.g., IP address, browser details) when you interact online with our site using cookies. Cookies are small computer files sent or accessed from your web browser on your computers, mobile devices, or tablets hard drive that contain information about your computer, such as user ID, user settings, browsing history and activities conducted while using our website. A Cookie typically contains the domain name (internet location) from which the Cookie originated, the “lifetime” of the Cookie (e.g., when it expires) and a randomly generated unique number or identifier.

 

Purposes and Legal Grounds

We use this usage data to facilitate communication between your device and our website, store your preferences, authenticate users, combat spam, detect and prevent fraud (e.g., fraudulent credit card use), and analyze overall usage of and improve and enhance our website.

You may be able to reject mobile device identifiers by activating the appropriate setting on your mobile device.

When you visit our website, cookies may also be placed on your computer by third-party services that are integrated into the site you are visiting. For example, third-party cookies are used by Google Analytics for tracking website traffic. We use information collected from such third-party services to help us better understand how users find and use our website, enhance our website and guest services and better understand and improve our users’ web experience.

 

Cross-Border Transfers of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers at Au Naturale in the United States. The data protection and privacy laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as the laws in other countries including the country where you live. For example, personal data transferred to the United States may be subject to lawful access requests by federal and state authorities in the United States.

 

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we request that individuals under 18 not provide personal data to Au Naturale.  If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

 

Retention of Personal Data

Au Naturale will retain your personal data for only as long as needed for the purposes for which the personal data is processed and to meet Au Naturale’s legal obligations. See section below under “Your Rights” for additional information pertaining to the right of erasure, as well as other data subject rights.

 

Information Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to assist in maintaining the security and confidentiality of personal data; safeguarding against anticipated threats to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data; and protecting your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or access.  Such technical and organizational measures include all applicable security requirements in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

However, whenever personal data is processed, there is a risk that such data could be lost, misused, modified, hacked, breached, and/or otherwise accessed by an unauthorized third party. No system or online transmission of data is completely secure. In addition to the technical and organizational measures that Au Naturale has in place to protect your personal data, you should use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data. If you believe that your Au Naturale account, or any information you provided to us, is no longer secure, please notify us immediately by emailing Au Naturale at [email protected].

 

Right to Object

If you reside in the European Union, you have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to direct marketing. “Profiling” means any form of automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a data subject, such as when we provide you with a specific type of direct marketing information based on information you provided us when you signed up for a stay at Au Naturale (e.g., your home address location).  If you exercise your right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to direct marketing, Au Naturale will no longer process your personal data for such purposes.

Additionally, if you reside in the European Union, you have a right to object when we process your personal data based on the legitimate interests of Au Naturale or a third party. If you exercise your right to object where our processing or sharing of your personal data is based on legitimate interests, that will result in the elimination of Au Naturale’s records of your preferences. Au Naturale will no longer process or share the personal data covered by your objection unless Au Naturale has compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or sharing that override your objection or that relate to the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Do Not Track

Au Naturale does not track its customers over time or across third-party websites and online services (e.g., mobile apps), and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites and apps may track your browsing activities when they provide you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. Third parties may collect personal data relating to your online activities over time and across different websites and apps when you use our site.
